Completed works comprised the replacement of the existing curtain walling system, which involved the erection of a temporary weatherproofing system to the adjoining classrooms before dismantling the existing curtain walling system and replacing it with the new system.
Associated works included the fitting of new vertical fire barriers between the classrooms and the replacing of the pre-formed window sills, which included some plumbing works.
The contract works were split into 5 phases. Due to the number of temporary classrooms, Garriock Bros. Ltd. were limited to working on one phase at a time and only after an individual phase was completed could Garriock Bros.Ltd. start work on another phase.
